Yay you stayed!!

Growing up in Atlanta, I've seen how art in all its forms, whether it's the spray-painted characters on the side of buildings and signs, or watching the Alvin Ailey Dance Company perform in the Fox Theatre, transcends time; art is revolutionary through every medium. Art is exposure. When viewing the work of creatives, you fixate your brain on understanding the world they desperately  want to bring us into..

I, Idia Enadeghe, started Reframeyourspeech to express my appreciation of how art and storytelling change the way we view and navigate the world around us. Every picture on this blog is one I've taken, and every word is a thought that drives me and my passions. Through the formulation of your own thoughts and convictions, then and only then can you start conversations. Which can be scary, but imperative because it takes courage to speak, and even more courage to understand the stories that for so long have been untold and aren't amplified. By shedding light on a range of stories centered on culture, spaces, and people, the goal of Reframeyourspeech is so we can continue to see the beauty in the art that has been created, and the art we all possess the same power to create.
